Dinner at the Evergreens, what could be better than that?

Whether it was just The Evergreens, Paul Peterson’s Evergreens or Sylvia’s Evergreens, it was dining at its finest in West Dundee. The restaurant was located on IL Rt. 31.

The Evergreens

Located in West Dundee on Illinois Route 31, this restaurant changed its name a couple times. In existence from at least 1959, it was known as The Evergreens Fine Food and Cocktail Lounge, later renamed Paul Peterson’s Evergreens, and eventually Sylvia’s Evergreens. Ratskeller Bar was located there too. No matter the name, fine dining and great cocktails were on the menu.
