Barrington
The movie theater, Corner Cupboard and so much more. Many Carpentersville students attended Barrington High and many residents worked in Barrington.
The Meadowdale Shopping Center, Besinger Community Center, Parades, neighborhoods, neighbors, family and friends. What a wonderful place to grow up. Take a look back at some precious memories.

Great shopping and wonderful parks. Lord’s Park, Wing Park, Trout Park, the Clock Tower, so many memories. Elgin was an amazing city and there are so many memories to see.

Haegers Bend
A special area between Carpentersville and Algonquin, on the Fox River. The people who called it home have such fond memories and will never forget their time there.
Lake-in-the-Hills
Lake in the Hills was once a small residential community where farms dotted the landscape.
Lake Marian
A small sub-division in Carpentersville with a private lake. The people who lived there loved the little community but over time there were issues with the dam and the lake no longer exists.
