Barrington High School
Welcome to the Carpentersville Memories Barrington High Page. Our goal is to bring back some fun memories of growing up in the 1950s, 1960s, 1970s and 1980s.
We bring back Memories you didn’t know you had
Did you go to Barrington High School?
Barrington High
This school is part of District 220 and is the only high school in the district. This is where some Carpentersville kids, mostly from The Indian section (named for the street names), go.
The school’s original location was on Hough Street. In 1949, the school moved to West Main Street. This is where is still stands today. It was only built to house 500 students. Additions were made, as needed. 2960 students go there now (2020).
The school colors are black, white, and scarlet. The mascot is the bronco (named Bronco Billy). The band is known as the Barrington High School Bronco Marching Band.
