Who didn’t love going to Dog N Suds?
The drive-in restaurant of the area. They were famous for their root beer (and root beer floats). Although they are gone from our area, they still operate in other areas and states.

The Dog N Suds
Although they are gone from our area, they are still around. It’s a short drive to Richmond (Illinois, silly) or Grayslake. Stop by and remember the “old days”. The Dundee and Carpentersville locations were both local favorites. As the name suggests, hot dogs (dog) and root beer (suds) were on the menu. There were other items available like, fish, chicken, and burgers.
