Kings Road School
Welcome to the Carpentersville Memories Kings Road School Page. Our goal is to bring back some fun memories of growing up in the 1950s, 1960s, 1970s and 1980s.
We bring back Memories you didn’t know you had
Did you go to Kings Road School?
Kings Road School
This school was near Perry Middle and Crown High. Kings Road was erected in the late 1950’s. Kings Road was closed and Perry became the elementary building in 1986, since that building is bigger (Kings Road was overcrowded).
In 1986 it was used as a head start school. Later on, Dundee-Crown used it as an annex. In 1991, the building became DeLacey Center.
The building was torn down on October 6, 2009. The land is now used for additional Dundee-Crown parking.
We are always trying to add to the content of our website. If you have any images, class photos or memory books to share please contact us.
