We bring back Memories you didn’t know you had

Did you go to Sunny Hill School?

Sunny Hill School

During the 1965-1966 school year, the 5th grade class chose the school mascot; the 6th grade class chose the school colors. The mascot was the Spartan. The school colors were black and blue.  Later the mascot and colors were changed to the Tigers, orange and black.

This school is in District 220 (Barrington), but is located in Carpentersville.  The school opened in 1954.  They started as a k-8 school.  The school dropped the junior high/middle grades in 1959.  It is still the same school today, in the same building.  Sunny Hill serves as a hub in the Carpentersville community for Barrington 220’s Bilingual Parents Advisory Council.

We are always trying to add to the content of our website.  If you have any images, class photos or memory books to share please contact us.
