We bring back Memories you didn’t know you had
Did you buy hot dogs and tamales from The Bus Stop?
Local area favorite for lunch and dinner. The place offered great food and at a great price. It was not just a local hot dog joint.
If you have any Bus Stop images to share please contact us. We would love to find an old menu and other images to add to this great page.
The Bus Stop
The bus, what today we would call a food truck, was located near the intersection of Tulsa and Kings Road. It was located behind Rocky’s Shell gas station. The original ‘building’ was an old bus installed in the 1960’s. Later on, a building was built. They were best known for their tamales, French fries, polish sausages, and hot dogs. However, all their food was great. Bus Stop closed in 1990’s; the building is still there.
